Terms of Service
Last updated: March 25, 2026 | Version: 1.0
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Pyrapolis platform ("Service"), including but not limited to the website, smart contracts, and game interface, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Pyrapolis is a blockchain-based idle city builder game deployed on BNB Smart Chain (BSC). The Service allows users to:
- Mint a soulbound (non-transferable) City NFT
- Construct and upgrade virtual buildings
- Earn PYRA utility tokens through gameplay
- Participate in the game economy through token spending
3. PYRA Token
PYRA is a utility token used exclusively within the Pyrapolis ecosystem. It is NOT a security, investment product, currency, or store of value. PYRA tokens:
- Have no guaranteed or expected monetary value
- Are not redeemable for fiat currency through the Service
- May lose value partially or entirely
- Are subject to a deflationary burn mechanism (15% of spending is permanently burned)
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
5. Wallet and Security
- You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and private keys
- We do not have access to your private keys or wallet credentials
- Lost private keys cannot be recovered by us
- Each wallet address may have only one City NFT (soulbound)
6. Game Mechanics
- All game actions (minting, building, upgrading, repairs) require PYRA tokens and BNB gas fees
- Game spending is split: 15% burned, 80% to Play-to-Earn pool, 5% to project treasury
- Building durability degrades over time and requires repair
- Reward claims are subject to minimum amounts, cooldowns, and durability penalties
- Game parameters may be adjusted by the admin for economic balance
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to gain unfair advantage
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities (report them to us instead)
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent game limits (sybil attacks)
- Manipulate the game economy through coordinated actions
- Use the Service for money laundering or other illegal purposes
8. Intellectual Property
The Pyrapolis name, logo, game design, smart contract code, and all associated intellectual property are owned by the Pyrapolis team. City NFTs grant in-game utility only and do not confer any intellectual property rights.
9. Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PYRAPOLIS TEAM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF TOKENS, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF PROFITS.
Specifically, we are not liable for:
- Smart contract bugs or exploits
- Blockchain network failures or congestion
- Token price fluctuations
- Third-party wallet failures
- Regulatory actions affecting the Service
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or restrict access to the Service (including pausing smart contracts) in cases of security emergencies, regulatory requirements, or Terms violations. Your on-chain assets remain on the blockchain regardless of Service availability.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unsuccessful, through arbitration.
13. Contact
For questions about these Terms, please contact us through our official community channels (Discord, Telegram, or Twitter).
